• The quality of the article must fall within the prescribed tolerances for silver plated articles.
• An acceptable quality designation must be used depending on whether the article is silver filled or silver plated.
• If only a part of the article is composed of the quality marked silver, the name of the part is specified immediately before or after the quality mark.
• A legitimate trademark must be applied to the precious metal article.
