The Competition Bureau has developed multimedia tools to introduce specific topics to Canadian consumers and businesses.

  • Bid-Rigging — Awareness and Prevention
    A multimedia tool designed to help business identify the warning signs of bid-rigging.
  • CA Identification Number
    The CA Number Database provides the name and postal address of each Canadian textile business who has been assigned a CA Identification Number. The database is updated on a weekly basis.
  • The FACT Campaign: Fraud Awareness for Commercial Targets
    The Fraud Awareness for Commercial Targets (FACT) campaign is an outreach and education initiative of the Competition Bureau that provides businesses and not-for-profit organizations with the facts necessary to avoid becoming victims of fraud, which costs them millions of dollars annually.

    There are many different types of fraud and scams perpetrated in Canada every day. In this interactive quiz, you will find questions to test your awareness of some of these scams. There are also helpful tips to educate you on how to avoid falling victim to these types of scams.
