Labelling

Under the law, prepackaged (non-food) products and products made with textiles (fibres, fabric, yarn) or down and feathers must be labelled with accurate and meaningful information before they are sold to consumers. In addition, if a quality mark is applied to an item made with a precious metal, the mark must be factual and not misleading. This is to help buyers make informed purchasing decisions and to protect them from false or misleading claims.
