Discontinued Cases

As these examples demonstrate under the Competition Act, the Commissioner of Competition will discontinue an inquiry:

• if there is insufficient evidence to institute proceedings before the Competition Tribunal or to refer a matter to the Attorney General or
• if the matter is otherwise concluded through an alternative case resolution
