The Hannin Creek and Applied Research Facility along the shores of Candle Lake is used by both Saskatchewan Polytechnic and the Saskatchewan Wildlife Association, and a growing variety of government agencies, non-profit organizations and research teams. This project will see the construction of a new lab facility to enhance applied research and learning capacity in engineering, environmental sciences and natural resources programs while also helping to advance alternative energy research in the north. Learners will have the opportunity to gain industry-relevant research and training.
